Integrated Education Program Director
Sherman Lake YMCA Outdoor Center is proud to be identified as a training HUB by YMCA USA for work in the Character Development Leadership Institute. A busy year-round calendar of 30 weeks of school programs focusing on integrating social emotional learning through "Camp to Classroom" techniques, summer camp offerings in day, overnight and high school leadership programs, and a year-round retreat department comprise the camp programs. You will join a team that is unique in the camping world with in-depth work in character development and building social emotional learning skills in adult practitioners as well as youth.

Integrated Education Instructor
Integrated Education Instructor/Counselor – helping schools transform by bringing character development lessons learned at camp back to the classroom (Camp to Classroom). Integrated Education Instructors will facilitate experiential and character based curriculum for local area schools throughout our 3-5 day residential programs. Applicants must be 18 years or older, available Monday through Friday, days and overnights.
The Lifeguard is responsible for guarding the aquatic facility and/or aquatic activities to secure the safety of pool occupants and program participants. The Lifeguard will ensure a safe, fun area for children and adults to interact and enjoy. This position requires early morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities.
The Swim Instructor is responsible for conducting swimming instruction that will ensure a safe, fun area for children and adults to interact and enjoy. This position may involve morning, evening, and weekend responsibilities. Schedule may include up to 6 hours per week teaching group lessons and a varied number of hours teaching private lessons.
