Water Aerobics:
Free to Members: Mon-Wed-Fri from 8:00 - 8:50 am; Tue-Thu from 6:00 - 6:50 pm; and Saturday from 8:15 - 9:05 am

This water class will allow participants the opportunity to both exercise aerobically and tone in the water. The class consists of 20 - 25 minutes of aerobic level workout followed by the use of resistance tools to tone and define muscles for the remaining 20 - 25 minutes of class. It is available for all levels of fitness. Those who need to avoid impact exercise may find particular value in this type of class. Some classes may be designated as Water Boot Camp. These classes will be more intense and involve lap swimming and anaerobic work.

Easy Stretch:
Free to Members: Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 - 8:45 am

This class is designed for individuals to move and stretch with the use of the water. Each participant will be able to work at their own pace. The water temp does vary although we try to keep it around 83 - 85 degrees. This class is conducted in the shallow end of pool.

Aqua-Joggers:
Free to Y-Members, Tuesdays 8:45 AM-9:15 AM, Fridays 9:00 AM-9:30 AM

Aqua-Joggers group, is a thirty minute class that takes place in the deep end of the pool. Using Aqua-joggers, the group will work on cardio, resistance training and a variety of other workouts using the aqua joggers. This class is ideal for anyone who has had back or knee problems, it's a great low-impact way to re-cover faster after an injury or surgery. For more information please click here for more information about aqua joggers. Not offered during summer months, please see pool schedule for most updated times.

Mindful Movements:
Free to Members: Mondays & Wednesday 9:00 AM-9:50 AM

Have you ever wanted to participate in a Yoga, Pilate's, or Tai-Chi class but are challenged by limited mobility or fear of falling? Mindful Movements class offers a safe alternative to land classes. Water supports the body making exercise easier and less painful. It also reduces joint stress, and provides both resistance and assistance to movement. Warm water facilitates range of motion around joints and promotes muscle relaxation. Mindful Movements class will be conducted primarily in the shallow end of the pool, so participants do not need to know how to swim. Water temperature will normally range from 83-85 degrees. Low lighting and quiet music will be utilized to promote focus and mindfulness (specific concentration) of body movements.  Instructors will emphasize execution of exact body positioning combined with proper breathing. The intentional moves of  Mindful Movements are designed to promote: core strength, flexibility, balance, controlled breathing, and mindful meditation.
Not offered during summer months, please see pool schedule for most up to date times.
